Lip Sync Utd ain't singing anymore

On a breezy night in central London, Cake n Eat If FC embarked on their first league game. Blood rushing through their veins, the boys stepped onto the pitch not knowing what to expect.

With the recent media attention, the nerves were evident. But with captain Danny Babayemi's experience, their was also an alluring sense of confidence.

Things couldn't have started worse, as 25yr old midfielder James Duffy pulled out last minute and was kept back at HQ. So the team drafted in a player in Rees, a friend of Danny's.

As the first whistle blew the boys went straight but got a little over excited and went 1-0 down. It was Danny B's role to G up the lads and it seemed to be working as the game turned into an exciting end to end contest and at one point it was 4-4.

Half time approached and after the break, Cake really turned the screw and powered on with brilliant, sexy football much to the admiration of the millions of fans on the 42 bus driving past.

Die Hard Fan Nicola Rutledge also got excited as she braved the cold weather and streaked across the pitch, sporting her new 'Cake til i die' tattoo.

Cake powered home only conceding 1 goal in the second half and scoring 8.

Parky was a rock at the back and kept the ship steady with his constant talking. With cameo performances in goal, Barnesy and Nick H stopped the few shots that peppered the Cake goal.

Cater showed he had the qualities and that he had played this game before with a flawless display.

Man of the match as voted by his team mates, Danny B ended the night with 7 goals and showed the goal threat he will be all season.

Great performance from the lads and they do it all gain next week with a game against '2 Fat 2 Furious' @6.30pm. See you all there!

Goals - Danny(7) Will (2) Stephen(3) Rees( 1)
