YES YES YES! The time has come again. Game 2 for the lads of Cake FC. It was only a week ago that the boys took to the field for their first game and as we all remember, boy did they deliver!
Now they are set to face what looks to be slightly tougher opposition than Lip Sync UTD who they smashed last week. The team standing in the way of another 3pts for the Cakers are '2 Fat 2 Furious' who also won their first game last week. (Bothered right?)
Things were looking good as of last night as the Cakers had a full squad, but a few last minute cancellations, have whittled the squad down to the bare minimum of 5!
These include, Steve C, Nicky H, Big Will, Danny B, and the duff man himself, James Duffy oh yeah!
Duffy who has been hitting the gym non stop missed last weeks game but has vowed to come back fighting and show the fans what they missed last week 'Duffy said last night 'the other team are gonna be begging ME for mercy!'
Strong on paper and even stronger on the field. These are the lads that will take to the streets of London, in the piercing cold and bring home another victory for Cake and their fans!
Chief WAGs Zoe Stainsby and Sarah Manktelow were seen getting Cake themed frontal body paint lathered on by a reporter of the The Sun. Lets hope they brave the cold and come and show the boys how to get it right upfront!
